This course consists of the following modules and skillsets:

  • Vehicle Workshop Housekeeping
  • Vehicle Engine Service
  • Vehicle Engine Overhauling
  • Vehicle Brake System Service
  • Engine Cooling System Replacement
  • Rear / Front Axle Rectification
  • Exhaust System Rectification
  • Vehicle Electrical & Electronic System Service
  • Vehicle Steering, Suspension and Wheel System Service
  • Vehicle Heated Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) System Rectification
  • Automatic Transmission / Transaxle Unit Overhauling
  • Manual Transmission / Transaxle Unit Overhauling

Course Duration

Total duration of this program is 10 months, and it breaks into 3 phases:

Phase 1:
3 months of classroom training, which includes 1 month of intensive practical training

Phase 2:
5 months of industry on-the-job training

Phase 3:
2 months of employability program, final exam and job placement opportunities

Career Prospects

Graduates of this program can expect a salary of up to RM3,500 per month (including commission) as a Vehicle Inspection Specialist. You are also open to one of the roles listed below:-

  • Vehicle Inspection/CPO Specialist
  • Automotive Evaluator
  • Used Car Sales Consultant
  • Quality Control Inspector/Auditor
  • Insurance Adjuster
  • Trainer

Beyond traditional technical roles, the skills you gain allow you to access supplemental income through outbound/home services during idle time.

Furthermore, these skills can potentially open doors to opportunities as an automotive-related content creator.

Entry Requirements

Malaysian citizens aged 17 and above.

Passed SKM Level 2 in the Automotive Field.
